Manufacturers' warehouses are full of tons of quality leather, stored for years: we have seen it with our own eyes. Deemed outdated, these beautiful leathers are not used and end up thrown away, or even burned.
So why not use them?
This is where Humaya was born.
ECO-RESPONSIBLE MANUFACTURING
UPCYCLED LEATHER ♻️
Upcycling (or surcyclage in French) means that we reuse existing materials to make our products, giving them a second life. The leathers used come from dormant stocks*.
* Dormant stocks are these colossal quantities of leather stored for years in warehouses. The reason for their abandonment? These may include minor imperfections in quality, colors considered outdated for future seasons, or patterns considered out of fashion.

In addition to being eco-responsible, upcycling allows us to offer you colors in limited series. Because yes, when a stock of leather is exhausted, no restocking is possible. This leather will simply no longer be available. By choosing one of our models, you will own a unique and exclusive piece.
